Reduced Fee Pathway Terms & Conditions
You must accept these terms and conditions to apply for the reduced fee pathway.
- Applicants must live in the UK, and be registered with a UK GP. This pilot project is not open to employees or their family members.
- Applicants under the age of 18 will only be considered with the support of a parent or legal guardian.
- Only one application will be accepted per person.
- Those under 18 will typically require six appointments for their gender assessment. Those aged 18 and over typically require two appointments for their gender assessment.
- The following costs are not covered by the Reduced Fee Pathway: Travel, Blood Tests and Medication.
- The Reduced Fee Pathway covers costs for a period of up to 30 months.
- It is important to note that a successful applicant’s gender assessment with Gender Plus does not guarantee a referral to the Gender Plus Hormone Clinic.
- Successful applicants are required to share the details of their GP at the time of booking.
- Access to the reduced fee pathway is non-transferable.
- Neither Gender Plus nor the Gender Plus Hormone clinic provide emergency care or support.
- If you are successful, you must book your first appointment within 1 month of being notified of your successful application.
- If you are successful but decide that you would prefer not to go ahead with your assessment, we ask you to inform us within seven days so that an alternative beneficiary can be identified.
